Baranów Sandomierski Castle
The Baranów Sandomerski Castle is a Mannerist castle located in the town of Baranów Sandomierski in the south-eastern Poland. The castle is commonly known as the "little Wawel".
Originally, a residency of the Lubomirski family, it now serves as a historical museum, hotel and conference centre.

TV news from Italian ghosts
We have just uploaded a video of a TV interview to some ghosts who haunts the castles we described in our ppt, please have a look to our twinspace. The actors are my students, the dialogues and the costumes were created by Rosa and Samuele.

Niedzica Castle
Niedzica Castle also known as Dunajec Castle is located in the southernmost part of Poland in Niedzica. It was erected between the years 1320 and 1326. The Niedzica Castle stands at an altitude of 566 m, on a hill 300 m upstream from the Dunajec River mouth, measured from the center of the dam on Czorsztyn Lake.
The castle holds secret treasures, ancient artwork, and the ghost of a woman who appears nightly. Along the road leading up to the castle is a sign that warns visitors that they are about to enter a haunted location.

The 13th century castle of the Teutonic Knights (The Order of Brothers of the German House of Saint Mary in Jerusalem).
The castle is a classic example of a medieval fortress. It is the biggest castle in Poland, the largest brick building in Europe, and the largest castle in the world by its surface area.

Kórnik Castle
Kórnik Castle (Polish: Zamek w Kórniku) was constructed in the 14th century. The current neogothic design and remodeling was done by the architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel for Tytus Działyński and the son Jan Kanty Działyński.

Kliczków Castle
Kliczków Castle, near Bolesławiec, Lower Silesia
A border fortress at the river Kwisa was founded in 1297 by the Duke Bolko I. In 1391, it fell into the hands of the Rechenberg family from Saxony, who held it for almost 300 years. The main building was built in 1585 in the Renaissance style.

Grodziec Castle
This medieval fortress is located on a basalt, volcanic hill at 389m.
In 16th century it was one of the most beautiful Silesian Gothic-Renaissance residences.
Burnt to ashes in 1945 the castle is still partly in ruins, but also features a hotel, splendid eatery services, as well as many medieval tournaments featuring jousting and sword fighting.

Czocha Castle
The defensive castle, built in the middle of 13th century, is located on the Lake Leśnia, near the Kwisa river (southwestern Poland). It was featured in several movies.
Nowadays there is a hotel and a conference center there. Each year, in the second half of August, there is a knight's tournament organised in the castle.

Chojnik Castle
This Silesian Piasts' fortress was erected in 1292 by Bolko I the Strict.
Chojnik Castle is a castle located above the town of Sobieszów, today part of Jelenia Góra in southwestern Poland. Its remains stand on top of the Chojnik hill (627 m (2,057 ft)) within the Karkonosze National Park, overlooking the Jelenia Góra valley.
Today the semi-ruined stronghold is a major tourist attraction and houses a hotel and a restaurant.
